It is the process of training and educating employees on the policies, rules and regulations that govern their daily obligations in the workplace. Compliance Training usually covers many topics of interest depending on the organization, the industry it operates within and its code of conduct or ethics. Some of the general areas that might be covered include methods of dealing with competitors, health and safety risks, how to protect the organization’s trade secrets, how to manage the companies records and various other regulations mandated by law. One will notice that some of these aspects are not just for mere smooth running of the company, but for its survival in the business field as well. Such issues like company’s secrets are what actually make it be unique and survive the tough competition.
Most companies, if not all, have their policies and procedures made available to all employees. But this is not usually enough especially as far as unforeseen circumstances are concerned.
