NRMA would like to see new technology used on roads to fight fatigue just as it is used for speeding. Deputy Commissioner Dave Owens would like to see more police officers pull over drivers on suspicion of fatigue. While being pulled over for veering off your lane may not be practical, NRMA president Wendy Machin proposes that car manufactures should use technology to signal drivers to take brakes.
