A National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, responsible for regulating all vehicles in Australia over 4.5 tonnes will become operational on 1 January 2013.
Under the review fatigue management and fatigue management training will come under review as experts decide how fatigue management should be implemented for 4.5 tonne vehicles.
With such reviews coming into place, it is likely that basic fatigue management will be extended and fatigue management training will be required on a much larger scale. The importance of online fatigue management as a form of fatigue management training will grow in importance.
