Sold OutCPCCDE3014 – Remove Non-Friable Asbestos (Class B)
This non-friable asbestos removal course teaches the skills required to safely remove bonded asbestos materials such as cement sheeting, roofing panels, pipes and vinyl tiles. These materials contain asbestos fibres that are bound into solid products but still require strict control procedures during removal.
Completion of this unit supports applications for a Class B asbestos removal licence.
CPCCDE3015 – Remove Friable Asbestos (Class A)
This friable asbestos removal course covers the removal of asbestos where fibres can easily become airborne. Workers learn enclosure systems, decontamination procedures, air monitoring requirements and containment methods required for higher-risk asbestos removal work.
Completion of this unit supports applications for a Class A asbestos removal licence.
CPCCDE4008 – Supervise Asbestos Removal
This unit prepares nominated supervisors responsible for planning and overseeing asbestos removal projects. It focuses on coordinating removal work, monitoring site safety controls, and ensuring compliance with WHS regulations and Safe Work Australia codes of practice.
CPCCDE5001 – Conduct Air Monitoring and Clearance Inspections
Designed for asbestos assessors and occupational hygienists, this course prepares participants to conduct air monitoring during asbestos removal work and carry out clearance inspections once removal has been completed.
Once asbestos fibres become airborne, the health risks can last decades. That’s why proper training is required before removal work begins
These asbestos removal courses are designed for workers responsible for removing, supervising or assessing asbestos work.
Knowing the difference between licence types shows you exactly what course you need.
A Class B asbestos removal licence allows the removal of non-friable asbestos, where fibres are bonded into materials such as cement sheets or tiles.
A Class A asbestos removal licence allows the removal of friable asbestos, where fibres can easily become airborne and present a higher health risk.
For many workers, this training is the step that moves them from general construction work into specialised asbestos removal roles where the safety stakes are significantly higher.
Before starting asbestos removal training, workers must hold a White Card (CPCCWHS1001A) demonstrating basic construction safety knowledge. You can complete this prerequisite through AlertForce’s White Card training course.
Only identifying asbestos on site rather than removing it? You may only need asbestos awareness training.
