Copenhagen workers went on strike mid-april when management changed the work place alcohol policy from being able to drink 3 beers to 1.Previously in the warehouse, coolers were dispersed through the workplace. When the restrictions were imposed that beer was only allowed to be served during lunch and in the canteen only the workers went on “wildcat” strike for 5 days. 500 staff decided to walk off the job and 50 of their driving colleges joined them. The workers only returned on Monday after a meeting with the managers where now only the drivers have the right to drink 3 free beers at work. The strike had caused a disruption to the deliveries to New Zeland.
