NOTE: SafeWork NSW requires personnel attending the TC and/or the ITMP course(s) to be assessed on two (2) separate occasions for TC and three (3) separate occasions for ITMP, whereby all units of competency must be assessed on the job via live projects (in the context of traffic control at worksites). On at least one (1) occasion for each skill set, the assessment must be carried out by a SafeWork NSW approved assessor.
Within 90 days of completing your theory training you will need to attend a practical assessment day at Alertforce with a SafeWork NSW approved assessor or organise for a SafeWork NSW approved assessor to assess you at your workplace.
AlertForce have are an approved registered training organisation who issue the certification for all SafeWork NSW approved traffic management and Nationally Recognised Traffic Control training. The aim of a Nationally Recognised Training Framework is to ensure those that undertake traffic control work achieve a standards of competency that are recognised throughout Australia and at the same time, provide a consistent approach of recognition of qualifications across all States. All training and assessment programs will now be linked to specific Nationally Recognised Units of Competency which can only be delivered by a SafeWork approved Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
