David Jones, chief executive Mark McInnes has had to resign after allegations of inappropriate behavior towards a female staff member. After making a statement to the ASX McInness remaked that he behaved in an “unbecoming manner” at two company functions. McIness also said, ” I have committed serious errors of judgement and have inexcusable let down the female staff member.” Due to the “sexiest” circumstances Mark McInnes has agreed to step down and will be “overseas for the foreseeable future.” McInnes;s contract will allow him to revive $445,421 in statutory entitlements and a settlement payment of $1.5 million leaving people thinking how crime sometimes does pay.
